Ben is now almost 11lbs!!!! YAY! He weighed in at 10 lbs, 12 oz- he gained 2 pounds since his one month! I'm so happy. In general, I tend to place a lot of pressure on myself....so having to exclusively feed my child has made me really feel the pressure. This check-up was really a "How Mom is Doing" visit. I passed!!!!
I have been doubting myself lately with feeding him because he is finished SO quickly! But, it looks like he is just a really efficient feeder...which is a great thing.
Ben is also 22.5 inches long. The doctor commented that he looks like a little man more than a baby. He was smiling and cooing.....until he got those horrible shots. Poor Guy....he recovered well this time....and we remembered the pacifier....looks like we are getting the hang of this thing called parenting!
Now if he would only sleep consistently more than 4 hours at a time at night....

lucas eats really fast too! at first he'd take 30-45 minutes, then 20-30, now it's a good solid 10 minutes and he's done! i was a little concerned too, but at his 2 week check-up he had gained almost a pound in only a week and a half! i guess our little guys just get down to business :). love the pics!
