Ben's 4 Month Check-Up

We took Ben to the doctor yesterday for his 4 month check up (and to get his next round of shots….poor baby!) No pain meds for him and no fever again afterwards….just a lot of sleeping!

He weighed 14 pounds and was 24 ¾ inches long!! Yay!

Also, Ben was super close to rolling over from his back to his stomach. I have a feeling he has already done this at playschool…..or he’s getting really close to doing it on his own.

For the past 3 nights, he’s gone 8 hours between feedings at night….MAJOR plus! We’ve actually let him fuss it out, and though it is extremely hard for me, it seems to be working! He’s also not being swaddled anymore, because he kicks out of it too often and we think it keeps him awake now more than helping him sleep. ALSO, he can officially put his toes into his mouth all on his own! He LOVES his toes =0) His Auntie Dawn would be so proud!
In other news, we have planted a vegetable garden…..one that Kirk cannot keep his little cute paws OUT OF! I will try and post pictures of our gardening efforts soon!
