It isn't much...but it is a start. It took 2 days and 6 pumping "sessions", but it's kind of cute! =0)
Needless to say, pumping is much harder than I thought it would be. I thought that if you were able to breastfeed your baby, then naturally you would be able to pump the milk for bottles. I am finding out that pumping is an "acquired skill"....one that I don't seem to have yet. But, I am hopeful that the whole Supply/Demand system that God created will come through in the end...only time (and patience) will tell!

Are you using a manual pump or an electric pump -- manual definately takes some practice and also takes forever -- electric is so easy and you're done in 10 minutes.

i pumped for 2 months b/c rachel never got the whole latching thing. 2 months was all i could stand! :)
Good for you for contacting the lacation consultant:) I'm sure she's told you the same thing but keep it up; I know its hard but its definately worth it! The first month or so is always the hardest while you're trying to get the knack of pumping but once you do -- its so easy and convienent!
